The Greatest Commandment

During that final week in Jerusalem, Jesus spent time each day in the Temple, taking every opportunity to teach people about God. Some of the religious leaders hated Jesus (can you believe that?) because so many people were listening to Jesus and not their teaching anymore. They were jealous of Jesus and His popularity among the people. They wanted to make Jesus look foolish, so they asked Him a trick question, “What is the greatest commandment of all?” How in the world would Jesus choose one commandment above all of the rest? The Jewish teachers thought, “Now we’ve got Him!”
Read Mark 12:28-34
Jesus was able to condense all of the 10 Commandments into two: Love God and Love People. It was just that simple.
How can you love God today? How can you love others?
