The Triumphant Entry
(palm branch)
Jesus came to earth as a tiny, helpless baby and grew to be a kind, wise, young man. When He was 30-years-old, He began traveling around Israel, mostly in the countryside, teaching everyone who would listen about who God is and helping anyone in need. Whether you needed food, help understanding the Scriptures or a healing in your body or mind, Jesus was there with a miracle to share.
Read Mark 11:1-11
As Jesus was making His way to the cross, He rode a donkey into Jerusalem. The people who believed in Jesus and loved Him were so happy to see Him coming. They threw down their coats to line His path into the city, grabbed palm branches to wave and shouted, “Hosanna in the Highest!” “Hosanna” means “save us now!” What do you think the people wanted Jesus to save them from?
